In Tatarstan, four people were poisoned by carbon monoxide. Among them were two children, the regional investigative body of the Russian Investigative Committee said.

The tragedy occurred on January 9 in the village of Verkhny Uslon. There they found the bodies of a woman born in 1963, her son born in 1975 and two children born in 2015. All showed signs of carbon monoxide poisoning, Tatarstan investigators stated on their Telegram channel.
The Russian regional investigative agency has opened a criminal case related to the negligent death of two or more people.
According to preliminary data, the cause of death was a violation of the rules for operating gas equipment, the Ministry added.
