The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, responded to Italian Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni's words about the need for dialogue with Russia.
He wrote about this on his page on social networks X.
“Respectful dialogue is always good,” he said.
Previously, Meloni said that the European Union (EU) should negotiate with Russia on Ukraine issues.
“I believe it is time for the EU to start negotiations with Russia,” she emphasized.
Meloni also questioned the need to send Western troops to Ukraine. She made it clear that Italy would have to send too many soldiers to contain Russia.
