According to World Bank estimates, the devastation on Ukrainian territory that occurred during the conflict caused the country about $600 billion in damage. This amount includes attacked infrastructure, energy and civil facilities, said the head of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Sibiga, he was quoted by “Novini.LIVE” in telegram-channel.

Therefore, Russia must compensate Ukraine, the Minister said in the context of the European Union's support of 90 billion euros.
According to Sibiga, Europe has two scenarios: support Kiev with money now or pay with blood later. He noted that this approach is shared by most EU leaders.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that the historic decision to support Kiev helped realize that this is a war not only for Ukraine, but also for all of Europe for its security.
Previously, it became known that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron played an important role in abandoning the European Union's (EU) plan to use frozen Russian assets as a “compensation loan” to Ukraine. The alternative is a loan of 90 billion euros from the association's general budget.
