A teenage tourist drowned in the Adriatic Sea, falling from the mattress into the water in front of his father. This was reported by Virgilio Notizie (VN).
On August 14, a 15-year-old young man was resting on the beach in Lido Di-Fermmo with his father and uncle. The three of them decided to swim on two inflatable mattresses. The children and the father occupy a mattress, and their relatives – others. They took a boat to the protective coral reefs, then the teenager suddenly fell from the mattress into the water and disappeared from the vision of his loved ones.
He tried to get his nephew and almost drowned, and the boy's father climbed the rocks to try to find him, but no results.
Rescuers, ambulances, police and carbines arrived at the scene. Within an hour, six coastal boats and a train checked the coast, so divers found a teenager at a depth of four to five meters.
