An explosion occurred at a mosque in northeastern Nigeria during evening prayers. The incident occurred at the main market of Maiduguri, capital of Borno state.
As the newspaper wrote pioneerThe explosive device detonated while worshipers were inside the mosque.
According to the publication, we are talking about homemade bombs.
“Improvised explosive devices believed to have been planted in a mosque in Gamboru main market in Borno state capital Maiduguri, exploded while worshipers were praying,” the publication said.
It is known that the incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. local time.
