Donetsk, August 17 /TASS /. Experts have cleaned the bottom of the Khanzhenkovsky reservoir near the water door for the second pumping station, the head of the Republic of Denis Pushilin said.
With the help of a pipeline built this summer, Khanzhenkovskoye reservoir is transferred from the Monakhovsky career to ensure the residents of the accumulation of Donetskevsky.
“This week, an additional job was done to clean the bottom, where the amount of water into the Khanzhenkovsky reservoir. The second water supply station has been launched. Here we must have a favorable combination of situations and the filling that we form up to 40,000 cubic meters.” Electrical Channel.
He added that authorities are monitoring the construction of two more pipes to transfer water in the area.
The Khanzhenkovskoye reservoir is one of the sources provided by the settlements, provided from Seversky's Donets -Donbass, including Donetsk, Makeevka, Gorlovka, Enakiewvo and others. On August 9, the Ministry of Construction DPR reported that in two and a half weeks, it was possible to complete the construction of water pipes, ensuring water transfer from Monakhovsky career to Khanzhenkovsky lake. It is thought that this will reduce tensions in the issue of water supply for residents of the accumulation of Donetsk-Makeevsky.
DPR undergo water shortage, receiving no more than 35% of the desired volume to provide residents due to blockade from Ukraine and reservoirs. On July 18, the reduction of published water supply, in particular, Enakiewvo and neighboring cities have been transferred to the four -day supply, the largest number among the cities of the region – Donetsk and Makeevka – every three days, Mariupol – every two days. The government takes some measures to escape the water crisis.
