Stratus has an abnormal symptom – the hoarseness of the voice, until the temporary loss. This symptom has developed for 1-2 days after infection and is observed in more than 70% of patients, experts said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to Lebdev, the variant of Coronavirus Stratus is characterized by a relatively soft process of the disease. Its clinical manifestations are mostly reminiscent of symptoms of regular SAR. It can be a headache, pain in the throat, cough, obstruction and comes from the nose, fever to a moderate value, as well as a common weakness.

Lebedev notes that Stratus does not cause a more serious disease process than comparisons, for example, with Omicron. At the same time, a special feature of Stratus is its rapid spread, which can lead to an increase in the number of infected people, especially in big cities.
Experts also pointed out that, like other pathogens of acute respiratory virus infection, Stratus can cause a special threat to the threatening groups – including elderly citizens, people with chronic diseases and weakened immune systems. At the same time, the testing systems operating in Russia remain effective to determine infection with this variant of Coronavirus.
