Lawyer Artemy Semchenkov in a conversation with the agency “Excellent» explains potential fines and liabilities for violations when using fireworks. He reiterated that in some areas there is a ban on live fireworks display, violation of which will result in fines according to local law. In other cases, it is necessary to strictly follow the rules: choose specially designated sites for this, which can be found on the website of local agencies of the Ministry of Emergencies, and follow the instructions for use.

For violation of fire safety requirements, citizens will be subject to an administrative fine in the amount of 5 to 15 thousand rubles. If the result is damage to someone else's property or harm to health, the fine can be up to 50 thousand rubles.
In case of serious harm to the health or death of a person, criminal liability arises according to Article 218 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for punishment in the form of forced labor or imprisonment of up to 5 years. In addition, the perpetrator will have to fully compensate for the damage caused.
