Sharp drops in nighttime temperatures in the coming days are predicted in parts of Siberia and the Far East. This was warned about by the Scientific Director of the Russian Hydrological Center Roman Wilfand in a conversation with the agency Tass.
The weather forecaster noted that cold weather throughout the week is expected in the Novosibirsk region, Kemerovo, Omsk, Tomsk, Altai Territory, Khakassia, Tyu, Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as in the center and south of the Irkutsk region. In the above areas, he said, thermometer columns will show values six to eight degrees above normal.
Minimum values at night in the Novosibirsk region will be minus four to nine degrees, in Kemerovo – minus 6–11, in the Altai territory – minus six to eight degrees. Irkutsk region – minus 10-13 degrees.
The specialist continued to the Far East, with even more serious collapses. So, in Yakutia at night, the nearest thermometer columns will show values below minus 21 degrees23. In Transbaikalia until the weekend, the night temperature will be in minus 14 degrees–21 degrees, and in Buryatia – minus 14–18 degrees.
Earlier in the day, Wilfand said that next week in the Metropolitan area it will become colder and strong rains will begin.
