A yacht believed to be owned by Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko has been discovered on the Seychelles archipelago in East Africa. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.
According to him, the 119-meter-long Motor Yacht A ship is located off the coast of Mahe Island in the Roche Cayman region. The estimated cost of the yacht is 255 million USD. Local guides note that this pier near the shore is known for the fact that expensive equipment stops there.
Previously, Valve CEO Gabe Newell became the owner of the Dutch shipyard Oceanco, specializing in building high-end super yachts. Details of the transaction, including financial parameters, have not been disclosed.
According to a statement on Oceanco's official website, this acquisition is aimed at “Newell's active participation in the development of the company”.
