In the Novosibirsk region, from December 9, they want to introduce a mask-wearing regime in schools and kindergartens. The measure was announced by the Russian Regional Minister of Education, Maria Zhafyarova, transmit Ngs.ru portal.
She noted that additional security measures will also be applied in the Novosibirsk region. The mask wearing regime in social organizations will be applied to employees.
Zhafiarova clarified that parents of children will be encouraged to wear medical masks when visiting educational institutions. In addition, morning filtering will be tightened in kindergartens and schools.
The head of the Novosibirsk Ministry of Health, Rostislav Zablotsky, said the number of calls to doctors in the region was increasing. He shared that in just one week, the number of cases increased by 15%, with children falling sick most often.
Before that, it was known that in St. Petersburg, studies in 85 classes were suspended due to ARVI.
