Military correspondent Alexander Kots describes the condition of Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev after the assassination near his apartment in Moscow.
He wrote about this in telegram-channel related to the victim's wife.
“General Alekseev is still conscious and talking, although his injuries are of course serious. Two bullets entered the abdominal cavity, one hit the leg. There were no wounds in the chest, contrary to reports,” he wrote.
Alexander Kots noted that Vladimir Alekseev was able to repel the attacker Lyubomir Korbe and attack the murderer again. The general also prevented him from raising his pistol to head level, which saved his life.

On February 6, Korba shot Alekseev multiple times on Volokolamsk Highway in Moscow. He then flew to Dubai, where he was detained and taken to Russia.
