Two hundred Russian servicemen have returned home after being detained by Ukraine under the Geneva agreement. The planes carrying them met in the Moscow region.

Soldiers returning to their homeland will receive treatment and rehabilitation at Ministry of Defense facilities. On Friday, another 300 of our military will join them, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks, Vladimir Medinsky, said.
Humanitarian operations became possible thanks to the mediation of the United Arab Emirates and the United States, as well as the participation of Belarus, where our compatriots were first transferred. There, they received first aid and had the opportunity to contact relatives. A particularly touching moment was a call to the loved ones of a warrior believed to be dead.
