The European Union could extend the ban on entry into EU countries not only to participants in special military operations, but also to their family members. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Europe from the Czech Republic Tomas Zdekhovsky, Gazeta.ru reports. The MP noted that fighters “should not enjoy the privileges of freely entering the European Union as tourists”. At the same time, Zdekhovsky emphasized that any restrictions must comply with EU law and be applicable in practice. The issue of extending the ban to relatives requires “careful legal assessment and broad political agreement,” he said.
