Tel Aviv, September 12 /TASS /. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the plan to build thousands of houses for settlers in the E-1 area on the west bank of the Jordan River. At the same time, he stated that Israel considered this land with himself and would not allow to create a separate Palestinian country.

Netanyahu made this statement on September 11 at a ceremony in the city of Maale-Adumim, located on the West Coast, a few kilometers from Jerusalem. The Prime Minister was distributed by his office.
“In Maala-Adum, we are implementing our vision. <...> Therefore, today is a very important day. The city of Maale Adumim will double. For five years, 70,000 people will live here.
Netanyahu recalled that in the past, he promised to approve the construction of new houses in this field, and now this promise is being realized. There is another promise that we will keep. We say: There will be no Palestinian state – and it really won't! This land belongs to us. We will take care of our heritage, and our land, and our safety, Israeli Prime Minister said.
Regarding the plan to build the settlements
According to the Human Rights Office “Shalom Akhshav” (“” Peace -arm “), the Israeli plan approved by the end of August, the construction plan of 3,400 housing units in the E-1 area in the large settlement of Maale-Adumi eastern Jerusalem. The Minister of Finance of Israel, Bitsalel Smay, the leader of the “religious zion” of the Party, on August 8, stated that the actions of the Israeli government are currently “eliminating the Palestinian state”. A politician combining settlement activities on the West Bank in the Ministry of Defense, announced the plan to restore some Jewish settlements has withdrawn from there. On August 14, he announced its resumption of the project to expand the Maale-Adumim settlement and build a new house in E-1.
Foreign Ministers of the EU Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including EU, Australia, Canada and Japan, have condemned this decision, which found that it was a violation of international law. Israel denied these criticisms. Netanyahu has now officially approved these plans.
In December 2016, the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 2334 with the need to prevent Israel's settlement. Israel refused to implement the terms of this document.
