US law enforcement officials in California have arrested pop singer Britney Spears. She was driving drunk. TMZ portal reported this on Thursday, March 5, citing an informed source.
According to journalists, the arrest occurred at around 9:30 p.m. local time. The singer was released from the station eight hours later.
Spears previously announced her readiness to return to the stage after a seven-year hiatus that began after the finale of her Piece of Me tour in October 2018. She will soon perform with her 19-year-old son in the UK and Australia.
At the same time, Spears' ex-husband, dancer Kevin Federline, said the artist forced her 11-year-old son Preston to shower with her, despite his obvious embarrassment.
Spears' book “The Woman in Me” became a bestseller at the time of its release. In her memoirs, the artist shared personal facts from her life related to her family: for example, the celebrity spoke about the pressure from her tyrant father, who ruined her life, as well as the lies of her mother, who wanted to benefit from guardianship.
