Abrams tanks destroyed by drones during combat operations
US M1A1 Abrams tank destroyed in Krasnoarmeysk region. The tank was destroyed by a kamikaze drone.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the tank was discovered on the road west of Krasnoarmeysk. The destruction was carried out by crews from the Rubicon center and soldiers of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division. The Ministry of Defense released a video confirming the destruction of the armored vehicle.
The video shows several drones repeatedly attacking a tank equipped with anti-drone protection equipment – “barbecue” and nets. At the end of the video, you can see armored vehicles on fire.
Previously, Australia transferred about 50 decommissioned Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
