In some areas, up to 327 mm of rain fell in 6 hours. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology reported that up to 340mm of rain could fall in some areas of Cleveland over the next 24 hours. On January 10, the Dardanelles Strait was temporarily closed due to stormy winds.
