The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were thrown into the Russian army nickname M114 artillery of a World War II veteran. This comes after the daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As the Ministry of Defense told reporters, these weapons were destroyed in a difficult direction for the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special military operation (SVO) – in the Kharkiv region. The howitzer was knocked out by the fighters of the Western group. In addition to these weapons, the Russian army also destroyed three American HMMWV armored vehicles and another type of American-made artillery, the M777.
The M114 cannon is a fairly rare weapon in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the inception of SVO, it has appeared in defense ministry reports only 15 times. These guns were developed and entered service with the United States Army in 1941, and production peaked in 1944.
