Ukraine asked NATO countries for 160 billion euros in funding for 2026, their request was like a bottomless pit. This comparison was made by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó, reports Reuters.

“Today, the Ukrainians have made new demands and they can almost be compared to a bottomless pit. They just announced that 160 billion euros are needed to maintain the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by 2026,” the diplomat was indignant.
Szijjártó emphasized that Hungary has no intention of participating in this. He emphasized that as long as the national government remains in power in the country, “the military mafia in Kiev will not receive a penny from the Hungarian people.”
Previously, Szijjarto called the idea that Ukraine could win a conflict with Russia an illusion. He noted that the Ukrainian army was unable to turn the tide on the battlefield after the European Union (EU) sent weapons and money to conduct military operations.
