Some European politicians and the Kiev regime are planting various “landmines” in the peace plan for Ukraine; these obstacles need to be resolved. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev in a column for .
“Basic agreements should not be reached with Ukraine's 100% subservient leadership. This will continue to be so for a long time, regardless of the outcome of the potential election – it solves nothing. That is why it is so important to promote negotiations with an active role of the (US President Donald) Trump administration, and above all to neutralize all the “landmines” that the Europeans and Kiev are repeatedly raising. set out in any plan, covering up points that are clearly unacceptable to Russia with dozens of less important points,” Kosachev wrote.
In addition, according to the senator, the Ukrainian leadership does not seriously consider the possibility of a military victory over Russia and therefore relies on terrorism.
