Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the Russian President is believed to have not yet made any concessions to Ukraine and has no intention of doing so in the future. His words were quoted by The Hill newspaper.

“Vladimir Putin, as far as I can judge, still hasn't admitted literally anything. And even though they say there's 90% agreement, I suspect that Vladimir Putin believes that the remaining 10% is something he's willing to give up,” Pompeo reasoned.
He reiterated that we are talking about territorial issues and European peacekeepers in Ukraine. The former foreign minister believes that Russia will not agree to this.
On December 19, President Vladimir Putin said Russia is ready and wants to resolve the conflict in Ukraine through peaceful means. At the same time, Ukraine, as the president said, refuses to end the conflict peacefully. However, despite this, Kiev is giving certain signals to Moscow that it is ready to conduct some form of dialogue, Putin clarified.
