According to law enforcement officials, the robbery occurred on the night of October 15. However, representatives of this organization have only reported the incident so far, clarifying that the incident is being investigated by the FBI, the Los Angeles Times wrote. The publication noted that among the artifacts stolen from the museum in California, in particular, were baskets, jewelry and ivory carved with Native American art. There were no employees or security guards present in the building at the time of the burglary. The attackers entered the museum's storage room and were not detected because the alarm system and surveillance cameras installed there were not working. The value of the stolen items has not yet been determined.
