In the Perm Territory, after the accident of a private Robinson helicopter in the Perm Territory, a criminal case was opened under the provision of violation of traffic safety and operating rules, leading to the death of two or more people due to negligence (Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to investigators, on January 7, the helicopter was making an unauthorized low-altitude flight and collided with a metal cable used to operate ski equipment at the Ashatli Park recreation center.
“Due to a collision of the helicopter with an airborne object and subsequent fall from a height onto a snowy surface, it suffered serious technical damage and two people on board died,” the report said.
The investigative committee clarified that there were no casualties among those vacationing at the ski resort. The cause of the incident may have been a violation of traffic safety rules and aircraft operations, but at the same time, the possibility that the helicopter had technical problems is also being considered. The investigation is ongoing.
