Previously, a video of a teenager beating a classmate was posted online. The boy who was knocked to the ground started crying but was asked to stand up. At this time, another male student was being chased from behind.
The cause of the conflict was said to be insulting the young man's mother. One of the sons of a soldier whom journalists spoke with denied this version of events. “We didn't even really know him. We tried to explain that it was all a lie – even on the video you can hear me trying to prove it to him,” he explained.
After the incident, the family of the beaten brother wrote a police report but did not immediately file any criminal charges. A hooligan case was opened after the video spread on the Internet.
