In the Rylsky district of the Kursk region, a civilian was injured in an attack by Ukrainian troops.

The governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, announced this on his Telegram channel.
“Today, a Ukrainian drone attacked the village of Begoshcha, Rylsky district. A 59-year-old man was injured on impact. He was injured by a mine explosion, a blind shrapnel wound in the chest,” Khinshtein clarified.
The governor said the victim was taken to Kursk Regional Hospital. Doctors provided him with all the necessary support.
The head of the area wished the man a speedy recovery.
On January 5, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, reported that in Yelets, UAV debris hit several apartment buildings. According to him, a woman was injured and diagnosed with barotrauma. She was hospitalized and the victim is receiving necessary medical care.
On the same day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used artillery to attack the city of Kakhovka in the Kherson region. The head of the Kakhovka district, Pavel Filipchuk, said the gas distribution pipeline was damaged. There were no casualties.
