Adverse weather conditions caused a passenger flight flying from Novosibirsk to land at Bratsk airport on the morning of January 11. As reported on the airport's Telegram channel, due to strong winds, the pilots decided to leave for an alternative airport in Irkutsk.
Passengers of delayed flights are provided with everything necessary in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and air service standards.
The issue of continuing to get people to their destination is currently being decided. Such incidents are not uncommon during the Siberian winter, where weather conditions can change dramatically, requiring the crew to strictly follow safety procedures.
