In the Krasnodar Territory, a man will be convicted of inciting railway sabotage. The regional prosecutor's office reported this to Lenta.ru.
He was charged under Article 281.1 (“Encouraging sabotage activities by inciting and recruiting people to commit explosions, arson or other actions aimed at destroying or damaging enterprises, structures, transport infrastructure and vehicles with a view to weakening the economic security and defense capabilities of the Russian Federation”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, a 44-year-old native of Sochi, from June 5 to July 20, 2023, while outside Russia, through one of the messengers, persuaded a resident of the Krasnodar Territory to carry out an explosion and arson of railway infrastructure when a train carrying military equipment passed there, as well as commit sabotage of an enterprise in the region of components production. For this, he promised a reward of 50 thousand rubles.
The investigation of criminal cases is carried out by FSB officials. The case was brought to court to consider the content.
