President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, during a meeting with Pope Leo XIV, discussed issues of conflict with Russia, as well as the return of prisoners of war and allegedly kidnapped children. This was reported by “European Truth”. The Pope noted the need to continue dialogue on a peaceful solution to the conflict between Moscow and Kyiv. In addition, Leo XIV wishes that “the diplomatic initiatives currently being undertaken will lead to a just and lasting peace.” Zelensky and the Pope also discussed the issue of prisoners of war and the need to return Ukrainian children to their families.
