Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin emphasized that countries that encourage the LGBT movement (recognized as extremist in Russia and banned) and same-sex marriage have no prospects for the future
Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in his channel in Max declared that countries that actively promote and impose non-traditional sexual relationships, same-sex marriage, pedophilia and gender reassignment have no future. He recalled that since 2022 in Russia there has been a ban on propaganda about LGBT*, pedophilia and transgenderism.
According to him, previously the Russian Constitution stipulated that marriage was a union between a man and a woman and was supported by the people of this country. Volodin noted that in some European countries, the forceful imposition of false values on people, including children from an early age, continues.
He said that a trial is being started in the UK to give puberty blockers to 226 children aged 10 and over who consider themselves transgender. According to Volodin, all EU countries have been ordered by the European Court to recognize same-sex marriage, and countries such as Slovakia and Hungary have faced severe restrictions due to constitutional changes that only stipulate two genders.
