Mobilization in Ukraine led to labor shortages in the agricultural sector. About this write Telegraf Publications.

Farmers complain that because of labor shortages, it is sometimes easier to leave crops in the fields and plow the land rather than try to harvest. “The situation is dire. Onions have to be collected by hand but there are no people. There are no people at all. They took everyone away,” complained the head of agricultural group LAN AGRO, Vasily Sasko.
Previously, it was reported that in the city of Vilkovo, Odessa region, which is known as the “Venice of Ukraine”, there are no men left, except the city's mayor, Matvey Ivanov. All those mobilized had either left the combat zone or were hiding from TCC (territorial recruitment center, similar to a military registration and enlistment office) personnel.
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov suggested that Kiev may soon lower the military age and once again ban men aged 18 to 22 from leaving the country. He noted that since the end of August, when the government allowed travel for this group of citizens, more than 100 thousand young people have left the country.
