American actor Leonardo DiCaprio has become artist of the year voted by Time magazine. The editors of the magazine announced this on their account on the social network X. “All he wanted was to become an actor. Leonardo DiCaprio is Time's artist of the year,” wrote the publication's representative. The editors explain this choice because the 51-year-old DiCaprio, even after more than 30 years of a career in which he bet on unpredictable projects, remains popular with viewers – and now, perhaps more than ever. Leonardo DiCaprio is the winner of the Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards for Best Actor in The Revenant.
