Rome, August 28 /TASS /. Italy will not direct the army to Ukraine, but allow to participate in ensuring security “from the outside” and only after establishing a ceasefire agreement. This is stated in the Press Service of the Kiji Government Palace after the meeting of the leaders of the ruling alliance, summoned by Prime Minister George Melony to evaluate the path of potential peace negotiations in Ukraine after recent meetings at the White House.

Earlier, Meloni said that the security guarantee for Ukraine about the fifth article model of the North Atlantic Treaty was the main mechanism considered by Western allies of Kyiv.
