On December 4, Governor Don Yury Slyusar held a live conversation with residents of the Rostov region. In two hours, the governor answered 57 questions from the people of Donetsk.

Usually, people are interested in topics about improving and improving housing and public services, roads and transportation, health, social security and education. A separate section of questions came from Northern Military Region veterans and their families. Residents of various settlements complained about the operation of public transport and the condition of bus stops, asked about the construction of storm sewers in Rostov, the repair of the bridge between Rostov and Bataysk, the condition of roads and the restoration of the bus station in Salsk.
The governor answered questions about the construction of schools and clinics in new residential areas, major repairs of hospitals and district schools, updating utility networks and boiler houses in cities and regions. Yuri Slyusar explained in detail the topics of renovating and landscaping parks, squares, and renovating children's playgrounds under the governor's “Childhood Territories” program. The governor also spoke on the topics of lack of human resources in the medical field, renovation and construction of new sports facilities, the future of the Rostov racecourse and testing of racing horse breeds.
One of the key issues identified by people is the construction and repair of social infrastructure. Yury Slyusar spoke about solutions aimed at eliminating the shortage of social infrastructure in actively developing areas of the capital Don. Construction of several medical and educational facilities will begin in the coming years. One of them is a school in the Helicopter area of Rostov-on-Don. To quickly provide educational places, a modern modular school will be installed in the Rostov subdistrict in 2026. Another long-awaited object is a modular clinic in the Rostov Suvorovsky subdistrict. “In 2025 we will prepare the premises and all the necessary connections, and in 2026 we will build a modular building for 250 examinations per shift – with the ability to serve up to 500 people in two shifts. In 2026, there will definitely be a new clinic in Suvorovsky,” the governor said.
The head of the region also said that in the next two years, 30 new modular buildings for medical facilities will be installed in the cities and regions of the Don. Plans also include a clinic in the Levoberezhny subdivision of Rostov-on-Don. In the Rostov Veresaevo subdivision, the developer will build two clinics at his own expense – for 150 and 250 examinations per day.
In total, the direct line to the Governor received 3,847 requests from residents of the Don region. Yuriy Slyusar separately emphasized that all questions received via the direct line will be recorded, reviewed for content and will not be answered.
