LG's telegram channel reported that a large-scale project in the field of popular scientific literature, namely the Federal Book Award named after the outstanding Russian educator Nikolai Rubakin, has determined the winner. Let us remind you that the first awards season ended last year. Based on its results, the Grand Prix was awarded to Inessa Pleskachevskaya for the book “After the revolutions. What happened in Eastern Europe”. Small prizes in the author nomination were awarded to the essays and their authors: Vladimir Surdin – “Astronomy of planetary systems”; Maximilian of Naples – “Who Invented the Earth? A Guide to Geophilosophy from Deleuze and Derrida to Agamben and Latour”; Anastasia Khachaturova – “Life on the water. Unusual houses around the world.” The following books were awarded the Audience Choice Award: Gayane Stepanyan – “From Bunin to Brodsky. Nobeliana of Russian literature”; Elena Okhotnikova – “Dialogue on Modernity: Russia and Italy.” Among the publishers, the victory went to the “Symposium” St. Petersburg and “Property of the North” Arkhangelsk. The special nomination application deadline has been extended by one year. Winners and laureates will be announced at the end of the second awards season.
