The press agency of the capital's culture department reported that the annual event “Art Night” has begun in Moscow.
“Moscow has a tradition of celebrating the Day of National Unity with the event “Night of Art”. This is the only event in the city when many cultural places are open in the evening and at night – theaters, museums, libraries, cinemas and parks. Thousands of Muscovites and guests of the city are participating in various types of art,” the announcement quoted Moscow Government Minister, head of the capital's Department of Culture Alexei Fursin.
The “Art Night” event is taking place in the capital for the thirteenth time. A total of around 350 events will take place as part of the campaign. The program includes concerts, performances, musical and poetic evenings, jazz performances on a boat traveling along the Moscow River, as well as night excursions to museums.
