Since the beginning of the year, Firefighters Don has made more than 4,000 trips to extinguish the fire and conduct emergency rescue activities. This has been reported by the press service of the General Department of the Russian Emergency Department in the Rostov area.
According to this agency, the main board of directors was held at the main department with the heads of the management agencies of all types of fire prevention and fighting units, emergency rescue units of the Rostov area to coordinate activities. In this event, interactive issues between reaction units were discussed in the process of eliminating fire and emergencies and the results of the first half of the 2025 were summarized.
During the meeting, special attention was paid for the development and establishment of new parts of voluntary fire prevention. So far, in the Rostov area, 4583 people have been registered in the consolidated registration book of voluntary firefighters. For five years, the number of volunteers on Don was doubled.
-The group of forces and funds of the reaction units of the fire and territorial rescue of the General Department of the Russian Emergency Department in the Rostov area include 316 fire prevention units with a total of more than 7,000 employees. On their weapons are about 1 thousand units of special equipment. These are units of state fire services, Department of Fire Department, private, city and volunteers, the report said.
