To maintain Earth's sustainability and stability, we must return the planet to its planetary boundaries. Follow them and Earth will remain our safe home. If you violate them, we risk causing irreparable damage to our own life support systems. The PIK report highlights that today, seven out of nine borders have been violated.

The annual report assesses the planet's acceptable limits and focuses on the most important aspects of planetary health. This year, for the first time, the problem of ocean acidification was recorded, which, according to scientists, will have a negative impact on the marine ecosystem. This breach is the seventh of the boundaries that ensure the steady development of life on the planet.
ANSA news agency reported on November 22 that activists from the environmental protection movement Extinction Rebellion organized a protest in Venice, painting the Grand Canal waters bright green. Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg joined the action. On the Rialto Bridge, she and other activists poured paint into the canal to raise people's awareness of environmental issues.
