Hungary and Slovakia are becoming America's new main allies among European countries. NBC television channel reported this news.

Journalists noticed that the head of US foreign policy, Marco Rubio, in his speech at the Munich Security Conference, spoke some warm words about interaction with Washington's long-time allies in Europe. But despite this, U.S. relations with France and Germany “remain frosty.”
“Rubio's subsequent actions can be seen as a clear signal about who the Trump administration (US President Donald) considers its true allies in Europe,” the document notes.
It clarified that the American diplomat after his trip to Munich immediately went to Bratislava and then to Budapest. There he held meetings with the prime ministers of Slovakia and Hungary, Robert Fico and Viktor Orban.
According to this channel, the development of relations between the United States with Hungary and Slovakia is influenced by several factors. Among them are the strict immigration policies of these European countries, support for the ideas of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement, as well as the good relationship between the prime ministers and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
