A Wizz Air passenger plane made an emergency landing in Naples due to reports of trouble on board. This was reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The incident occurred on October 14 on a train traveling from Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt to Rome. According to the announcement, passengers reported the appearance of smoke in the plane's cargo compartment.
Wizz Air confirmed the emergency landing but denied reports of smoke. The carrier's statement indicated that all passengers disembarked safely and an inspection of the ship showed no signs of fire.
On the plane were journalists and film crew members accompanying Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni from the “peace summit”. All passengers were evacuated without incident.
On September 14, it was reported that a plane flying from Moscow to Hurghada had to make an emergency landing due to an engine fire.
