MOSCOW, JANUARY 13. . The event organizers told that more than 720 thousand people attended the XI festival “Ice Moscow. In the Family Circle”, which took place at Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill from December 30, 2025 to January 11, 2026.
“During its duration, the festival became a record attraction of 724 thousand visitors, confirming its status as one of the main winter events of the capital. The geographical range of visitors is very wide: in addition to residents of Russia and the CIS countries, tourists from India, Germany, Korea, China, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Italy and many other countries appreciate the magic of ice and fairy tales,” the press service said.
The central object of the festival is the ice Kremlin with six slides, around which there are many sculptures and compositions. More than 4 thousand tons of natural ice from the northern lakes were used to make them; more than 100 sculptors from all over Russia worked on this site. The theme of this year's festival is the fairy tale “Pinocchio”, expressed through ice and sand sculptures, theatrical performances, interactive zones and carnival processions. Visitors can go all the way to Pinocchio: from Papa Carlo's wardrobe to the Field of Miracles, meet Tortila, Malvina and Pierrot, and see references to both the cult Soviet film and the new adaptation.
An entertainment program took place on the Ice Moscow stage, Abraham Russo, Gosha Kutsenko and other artists performed, and at the same time a theatrical show was presented by the Ne AI theater. A special feature of the festival also includes “Angel Street” – a large-scale interactive space based on the film of the same name by director Alexander Kovtunts, scheduled for release in spring 2026. An interactive ice sculpture workshop is available for those interested.
“Traditionally, the festival has become a place for good deeds. Guests were veterans of special military operations and their families, extended families and wards of 30 public organizations. Tours and master classes were organized for them,” the press service emphasized.
The event was organized by the national program “In the Family Circle” with support from the Moscow Department of Culture and state corporation Rostec. is the official information partner.
