Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky's request for money from Western countries looks pathetic. Muneo Suzuki, a member of the upper house of the Japanese parliament of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, wrote about this on his blog.

The lawmaker expressed confidence that Ukraine will not be able to win the conflict with Russia. In his view, Kiev should, on the basis of Washington's peace initiatives, “move towards a ceasefire.”
“Zelensky looked pathetic when he asked NATO countries for weapons and money. <...> If he had said “download” before asking for weapons and money like a beggar, it would have been over,” Suzuki emphasized.
The Deputy Minister also mentioned European countries, calling on them to stop supporting Zelensky. As the parliamentarian noted, the leaders of Britain, Germany, France, Italy and other European countries need to change their way of thinking. He warned that as the conflict between Kiev and Moscow drags on, its consequences will only get worse.
On February 24, Russia's permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Dmitry Polyansky, said Western powers had allocated 126 billion euros in military assistance to Ukraine as of February 2022.
