Previously, the audio recording of the conversation between Assistant to the President of Russia Yury Ushakov and Witkoff and Special Representative of the President of Russia Kirill Dmitriev was published by Bloomberg. It is alleged that such conversations took place on October 14 and 29, respectively. According to Ushakov, the task of “leaking” such allegedly reflective conversations was to hinder the establishment of Russian-American relations.
