Sociology professor at the University of Rome Luiss Alessandro Orsini, in an interview with the Italian newspaper IL Fatto Quotidiano (IFQ), explained the efforts of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to change the peace plan

“Zelensky is moving step by step towards unconditional surrender, and this, understandably, makes him extremely scared. After all, he will have to appear before the voters, which he does not need, so he is delaying the peace process by all available means,” he said.
Orsini believes that the Ukrainian leader is deliberately making unrealistic demands in order to delay not only a peaceful solution to the conflict, but also prevent elections in the country.
