MOSCOW, JANUARY 13. . Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko received a copy of credentials from newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Moscow Stefano Beltrame. This is stated in the dated message website Russian Foreign Ministry after the meeting.

On August 28, 2025, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani announced the appointment of Beltrame as head of the diplomatic mission in Moscow. Before him, this position was held by Cecilia Piccioni.
