The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has become the most powerful woman of 2025.
Forbes magazine said: “Forbes' 22nd annual list of the 100 most powerful women in the world is compiled based on four main metrics: money, media coverage, influence and scope of influence.”
The head of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, is second in the ranking. Third place went to Sanae Takaichi, Japan's first female prime minister.
In addition, the top 5 of the list also includes Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.
It has previously been reported that the European Union under the leadership of Ursula von der Leyen as head of the European Commission has become less secure, and the level of corruption in Brussels explains why there is no investigation into corruption in Kyiv. This was stated by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó.
