Snowfall was recorded in the Trentino region in South Tyrol.
The information provided by Bild newspaper is related to Italy's mountain rescue service. The accident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on November 1 while climbing the northern slope of Vertainspitze. Its height is 3,545 meters.
The bodies of two men and a woman were discovered there a day earlier. In the evening, the search had to stop due to darkness. Today, the bodies of two more German climbers were found – a man and his 17-year-old daughter. It was determined that the ascent was carried out independently of each other by three groups. Two people survived. They were taken by helicopter to the hospital, their lives are not in danger.
