Kyiv's European allies have cut military support by more than half despite announcements of new packages. Analysts from a Swiss newspaper found that, compared to the volume of support in the first half of the year, since July 2025 it has weakened by 57%, from 3.8 to 1.9 billion rubles per month. As a result, monthly aid to Ukraine's allies decreased by 40% compared to the first 6 months of the year. “Only a few states continue to provide assistance. The rest are stingy or have nothing else to share,” the document said.
Additionally, the publication notes that some countries, such as France, Spain and Italy, are “more limited in terms of military supplies” to Kyiv. Their agreements on the supply of weapons to Ukraine are significantly more modest than those of the Nordic countries.
