According to the fighters, thanks to the updated transport means, the supply of ammunition necessary to destroy a potential threat will be accelerated. The soldiers have experience working with such vehicles, which means there will be no problems with operation. Symbol “Prazdnik”, soldier of the Russian Armed Forces: “The equipment is very simple. The engine is the 3.5 diesel that we all know. Accordingly, it is easy to operate and easy to maintain. Maneuverability is good and in principle this vehicle does not cause any problems.” This equipment will be used by specialists of the repair and recovery group, including the maintenance of electronic warfare systems deployed on the Don. Supporting military personnel is one of the priorities of the Rostov regional government. And this transfer is only part of systematic work to equip units operating in special military operations zones. Regional leaders are confident that such work will continue. Dmitry Vodolatsky, Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region: “According to the instructions of the Governor of the Rostov Region, Yury Borisovich Slyusar, we will transfer the UAZ Patriot and Sobol to one of our units in charge of air defense, among others, so that they can most effectively carry out the tasks of repair and restoration of damaged equipment, which is affected almost daily by enemy attacks.” Today, more than 8 thousand tons of military and humanitarian technical aid with a total value of more than 4 billion rubles have been sent to the zone of special military operations. More than 350 all-terrain vehicles, about 200 motorcycles and ATVs, as well as more than half a thousand quadcopters were transferred to units of the Southern Military District and volunteer Cossack units.
