According to the report of the Rospotrebnadzor regional department, the epidemiological threshold was not exceeded during the week from October 6 to October 12. Among the circulating viruses, non-influenza pathogens prevail, such as adenovirus, parainfluenza, rhinovirus, seasonal coronavirus, bocavirus and RS virus. “A pre-season vaccination campaign is being carried out in the Rostov region. As of October 9, 2025, more than 945 thousand people, or 22.7% of the total population, have been vaccinated against influenza throughout the region,” the source wrote. The ministry noted that no complications were recorded in any of the vaccinated people and reiterated that vaccination is the most effective way to protect against current flu strains.
